Leak? Squier Paranormal Rascal Bass HH

Thanks guys. Will try that to raise the neck pickup volume just a bit so it matches the bridge.

Leak? Squier Paranormal Rascal Bass HH

Noticed today that the neck pickup is slightly lower than the bridge pickup on my Rascal. Did yours came with the same setup guys ? Would i get a louder output from the neck pickup if it was closer to the strings ? What would be the proper way to do that ? Otherwise i had a blast playing...

Leak? Squier Paranormal Rascal Bass HH

My racing green Rascal showed up today. Ordered directly from Fender’s website as soon as it was back on stock last friday ! I’m afraid my first impressions won’t add much to what was already repeated numerous times in this thread... This is a really nice instrument with a stellar finish, as...

    Fender Rumble Club

It’s a repost from italian Music Works site where you can see it’s not in stock but "available within 3/5 days"... :/ Interesting combo tho... what are the 2 inputs for ? Drive and clean tone ?

    Fender Rumble Club

Not sure if it’s relevant but Thomann just added a "Tube bass combo" section on their bass combo amp webpage. The section is still empty and shows a Portaflex picture as link but it was not there a couple of days ago and the tube heads + cabs already have their section elsewhere on the site...

    Low-Wattage Tubesters Official Club

Hi @gtirard Very interesting as i’m in France too and had my mind on a PF50T but those are impossible to find here right now... Never heard of this brand before reading your post. Do you own or have tried this amp ?

    Rumble 40 sound

As a R40 owner i can share the OP’s frustration... I don’t think that the problem comes from the baked in tone but from the quality of the tools you get for sculpting your sound. The EQ section sounds barely decent to my ears so you can only adjust by very little amounts before it starts...

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

A modest Rumble 40 for now, but i’m about to buy a head+cab soon... not sure which tho :) The Rumble has no active/passive switch so i guess it leans towards an active bass level to accomodate both possibilities. Takes the gain added by the detective without clipping.

An internal switch ? Don’t know... @Sushi Box FX surely knows :)

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Not sure if you’re talking bout pedals or amps there and i know my Detective has volume controls but the red channel adds so much gain that the master has to be near 0 to compensate and tho has only a few mm usable range... So my question stays... are active/passive switches on amp heads just...

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Have a question for you guys using a lot of pedals including the SushiBoxes. Do you manage to keep the gain staging steady all the way ? What if you end up with a lot of gain ? Can you use the active bass switch on your amp as a way to pad down the gain ? I believe active switches are just a...

Need a cab. Should I get an Orange OBC-112 or a Fender Rumble 115 v3?

Thanks ! If you still have them i guess you must be satisfied with how they sound right ? Ever tested the 112 with a more neutral class D amp ?

Need a cab. Should I get an Orange OBC-112 or a Fender Rumble 115 v3?

Hi there @Meysiv Being in France just like you and so having limited options i’d be really interested in your feedback about the OBC112 used alone or in pair with the Terror bass or any other amp as i’m considering buying one too ;) Thanks !
