Are you running the MB into 4 ohms or 8 ohms? How far up was the master/volume knob?
MB is running at 4ohms (mine has the 4ohm internal speaker) so the full 300 watts. Volume was up close to 12 o'clock. Stage volume at our last gig, with no FOH support for the bass in a decent sized club, was just about 1 o'clock.
A note: one of the guitar players had to leave early, and with that sound not in the room I had to turn down a bit. He's a really good player and great guy, but definitely full of volume.

I could hardly carry myself and it took 3 trips to bring my Beavertone rig in
it was worth it though
... now with all this internet around i'll check out the venue and bring the Rumble if there's more than 3 steps

Not sure if it’s relevant but Thomann just added a "Tube bass combo" section on their bass combo amp webpage.
The section is still empty and shows a Portaflex picture as link but it was not there a couple of days ago and the tube heads + cabs already have their section elsewhere on the site...
without anything tecnical, all i can tell you is that it's like the earth stops spinning and it rages like it is the open gates of hell yet, really tight, i feel in total control of everything with my standard 70's precision. definately more clarity and versatility (especially gain, which i don't really use unless i'm experimenting) than the traynor and 2x 15"s, but i haven't really got the ear to compare properly. also i haven't done a proper shootout, maybe tomorrows a good day for that finally
Dad's the bassist (musician actually) and I'm the noise maker really, primarily a regular 6-string guitarist, the bass was always just there, in the corner of whatever house we were living in at the time. I actually got alot of $#!+ from people about the size of my guitar amp but I was oblivious, I thought that the Beavertone was just a standard bass amp and i needed a standard guitar amp to match :shrug:. Started out playing Metallica, loved Anesthesia, even though i could only play a bit of it and it took years to learn the whole thing. Joined KillMondays with the bass to complete the lineup that dredged through Brisbane's underground scene for nearly 5 years but that's about all I've done seriously with the bass. Back to guitar, now in 3 originals on the back burner. I've been experimenting with the rumble stack as a left or center channel for my Mastodon guitar rig. I generally get the impression that people think i'm crazy but I know that it's true and... I just like it, what can I say. did I ramble on too much? I'm lazy, don't want no money or bread from music, it's for fun and for me. threw a few influences in there subliminally, others are mostly metal from the era of its founding and of course thrash/prog or bands just outside the basket. prolly throw in ZZ Top because I don't really know why, just loved that push groove, always puts me in a good mood lol
ok i'll go take a pic now... soon as i can pave a way through the basement of no return!

ah forgot to mention the rumble journey.. bought it (Rumble 500 combo) for dad because the Traynor was too heavy for him and it didn't fit into his space saver car.. what a surprise that was, 12kg or what ever it is, moves the earth man. we have been nothing short of amazed at how good this thing is
My 50 Watt RMS practice rig at home. 2x8 ohm in series = 16 ohm load connected to Fender Rumble 100 V3 combo amplififier in a home made head chassis. The cabinets are Fender Rumble 115 V3 and Fender Rumble 410 V3.

Interesting combo tho... what are the 2 inputs for ? Drive and clean tone ?
My back is very messed up so I'm kinda glad I never gigged with my tube amp as a guitarist. Now that I'm a bassist (in loose terms) in a band, I need to sus out how much the Rumble 60 weighs... I brought my R40 to our last practice and it was definitely loud enough for our trio but I wonder how it would do in a bar gig.
