Yes! Why, yes, there are, Souly. Several, in fact. I have collected, and used, a great many of them, quite often, in my many decades. I've even considered editing and publishing my own Crow Cookbook someday! Mmm, I tell you, there's nothing like a nice marinated, lightly grilled crow. Yummy. Tastes like chicken! :smug:

I've been lurking about Rumbles for months. In fact, I don't have an amp right now. I used the old G-Dec for awhile and I'm a Fender Play subscriber

Now I have two R-115 cabs. Had the real pleasure to meet Mr. SoulReflection and purchase it from him. We only live about an hour apart. Super duper nice fellow. The ground was Rumbling beneath us!
With so much in common we had a nice chat re music, pushing the years, the new musicians, and even TalkBass. I'm sure I left something out, hahahah.

So now I have a 'practice unit' (R200 + R115) at home ready to deploy for gigs at any moment,
and a Yamaha B100 amp + R115 at my practice space.

Ultimately will be using both ext cabs through the Yammy for the outdoor and larger shows. There is a Direct Out on the Yammy for PA support, etc. The R200 will be the odd man out. If the Yammy 2x115 doesnt work out it will be on to Plan B.

The pleasure was all mine, @CharleyJackson.

You may find that the R200C with an R115 cab will deliver a full, 200 glorious watts and may surpass the Yamaha in volume and still have some tubey goodness in the mix. Who knows? It is always good to have some options.

Well, Matt, we've been glad to see you here, off and on, these past years. I'd encourage you to feel free to ask the questions you must have about which Rumble(s) to get.

If you like the modeling tones of the G-Dec, you might look for a used B-Dec or Bronco 40 bass modeling amp. Or just get a Rumble V3 Studio 40 or Stage 800 combo. Many users say the tonal variations help keep them interested in practicing.

Of course, you're also certainly welcome to browse our Rumble Club Wiki page of information, as well. :D

Depending on your definition of "medium sized", other instruments (if any), audience size (and demeanor), desired SPL, and room acoustics it would be possible for you to use the Rumble 15, 25, 40, 100, 200, 500 or 800s!

See our Rumble Summary Info chart to compare physicalities of the different models, keeping in mind that the 200, 500 & 800s need extension cabs to reach full nameplate power. And, if you're interested in a low-power combo, check the link immediately under the chart for feature comparisons of the 15, 25 & 40. The larger Rumbles mostly have the same features as the 40, except for the LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800 modeling combos with much, much more. :whistle:

That said, I get more use from my Rumble Studio 40 for my Americana (Country/Bluegrass/Cajun) jams and gigs in "medium" venues, than my R500c for my loud Country cover band. :thumbsup:

tried the 100 at my local GC - impressive.

i liked it and probably good enough for the medium coffee shop i would be using it in.

they didn't have a 200 or 500.

...

Ampeg Rockets were not even close: nope

Mark Bass Little Mark IV Combo: MONSTER combo at 500/300 w and $1,000

Katana 110 with A/B power: i didn't expect much with this one, but dang.

do yourself a favor and go with the Bassman cab. The Rumble 410 has an inherent boost at a really annoying low /low mids frequency that I never acheived to EQ out. To me its unbearable. I tried Rumble 800 head, Mesa D800+ and GK 1001RB on it and never got this 160-250 ish frequency EQed out,

The bassman on the other hand was a really great cab. Lightweight, tons of boomy lows and crystal clear highs. But its loud, really loud, and its hard to have a nice articulated low end when playing in small basements with low ceiling. Other than that its awesome
