OK! It turns out that the .02Z Z5U capacitor on the Tone pot was bad or was on a cold solder joint. Once I replaced it with a 203, I got tone control back. Can't thank you enough for all the help. Steve

All, A few of you expressed interest in nabbing one of these 6'ers if they became available. Well, the bass (which can be seen and heard in post #141 - 8 years ago!) returned from a gig last year with a hairline fracture in the neck. I have a few pictures of the crack. It holds tune just fine...

Speaking of neck wood, this Axcelerator 2T has gorgeous figured grain and flame throughout the neck: ...and it's just an incredible bass.

I was wracking my brain because I knew at one point I had something that put the "plus" designation on the headstock, but it was an Axcelerator, not a Millennium: Good call - thanks for the help.

Picked up this beauty today. 2004 Millennium Plus - not a scratch on it. D-tuner, Straplocks, Hipshot hardware, Peavey HSC is perfect condition. Pretty happy.
