    I'm saying that you don't have to separate from being a Christian to take a job that another Christian, even a friend, is being fired from. In fact, if he should get it, the other guy should wish him well on his new gig. That would be the Christian thing to do.

    I'm a Christian, and I think the Christianity angle is being overplayed in this thread. The two things have nothing to do with each other. If the bandleader wants to make a move, she can. It will be him, or it will be someone else. It's business.

    I understand what you mean. I feel this way too. I'm a G&L fan, made in USA, designed by Leo Fender ... but I wouldn't want a Tribute.

    Lakland Skyline 55-60 fits that spec exactly and is under $1000 used.

    I just got a lightly used 2016 G&L with quartersawn neck shipped for under $1000. Don't see how anything can compete with that.

    If looking new, Ibanez makes nice SR basses for $500. Kind of a weird price point for used guitars and a 5 minute time limit.
