Effects on ur pedalboard that no other bassist uses?

I haven't seen anyone else using a Boss Metal Zone, and as I've been laughed at whenever I suggested it as a good distortion pedal, I take it's not that common to use it. Maybe same goes for the Digitech Grunge, which I also like and use. Both are very rare in a bassist arsenal, and should...

So I take it boss pedals arent that great?

The Boss LS2 is a pure gem, and I'd say almost a must have, as it is really versatile in terms of signal chaining. The MetalZone MT2 is also a pure gem, although only if blended with some dry signal through the aforementioned LS2. And they are tough and reliable!

    MXR M-80 color button

In a way, having the second channel setup with the color on, is a convenient way to give two quite distinct sounds. Saying so, I keep it enabled all the time and I essentially use the second channel as a mute.

12" exclusive CLUB -- Why didn't this exist yet?

As I said, I absolutely love them. Super loud with my old 200W amp. I have yet to try them outdoor without any room echo and without anything rattling around. I've reused a pair of Kappa Pro 12. Those are NOT the optimal drivers for those designs, but they seem to work really well (I haven't...

    Holden/Wasp club

Mine was actually given to me by a friend, just had a badly distorted sound / buzz. I just had to get it repaired and it became mine. It is still going strong, and sitting very proudly on its stack of cabs, also made in Christchurch I actually did see an other one of those DC208, it was with...

RIGS OF DOOM - Ch. 3

As doomy as it can get with just a pair of 12"... :spit: IMHO, it's not about how many speakers you can fit in a box, it's about how far you can milk every one of them.

    Holden/Wasp club

Here's a snippet of a discussion via email with Mike Lewis who was the Managing Director/ owner of Holden Sound Industries, back in the days, in Christchurch. That was just when I got this amp, three years ago.
