Hi guys, have a nice white Euro 4LX for about 5 years and always think about a chrome bridge (also tuners) for it. I know it was discussed here a time ago and found Link Removed offering those. Does anybody have experience with them or know other sources? Thanks and regards Andreas

Hi Neil, a good intonation depends also on your left hand technique. Have a look on double bass playing: you use mainly three fingers, called Simandl, and have through this always a certain finger tension and position... you'll find detailed explanation somewhere here... This makes it easier to...

:) Sorry, never played other strings on that bass. Can't remember to adjust the neck, but sure for the bridge height. The first thing after I got it was to change the strings and didn't know what strings were on it.

At least not Joe and Jake. :-) But the guitarists are father and son.

The bass was made in 2007 as a closet classic, and belonged to two or three people before I had the opportunity to buy it last year. The EMG are installed by myself, very easy, nothing to solder. I am not sure how much CS basses in this colour exist, only seen one more. Regards Andreas

@Midak: as mentioned, just my subjective impressions. I'm used to play the .040/0.60/0.75/.95 Rotos and .040/0.60/0.80/.100 DRs on different basses I have or had. The Elites are the same gauge as the DRs and I had the feel, that the Elites are with a bit more tension... at least at the...
