Not a bad argument, but mint is also deep into 60s.
And if I remember correctly, you changed out the tort on your old LPB Jazz for a mint one.
I did do that, but I don't think the mint does the gold justice. Just my humble opinion.

Man....I'm really loving the work the Custom Shop crew is doing these days ...what a classic and rare look...
I assume this is your Guy Pratt tribute bass? Did the custom shop install the EMGs or are those aftermarket? I've always been told only bass pickups on the current price list were available on team built basses.There was a request for a picture...

The bass was made in 2007 as a closet classic, and belonged to two or three people before I had the opportunity to buy it last year. The EMG are installed by myself, very easy, nothing to solder.
I am not sure how much CS basses in this colour exist, only seen one more.

Burgundy Mists are indeed more rare than a lot of other classic 60s colors. I saw a same one as yours (CC, matching headstock, white pickguard) at Thomann's website almost a year ago, plus I can remember a thread with a TalkBass member having a NOS one with tort pickguard. There may be a couple more in this very thread, too.
There's a really pretty relic'd '59 P in Burgundy Mist sitting and waiting for someone on Reverb right now...(no, I'm not the seller)
For those that, somehow, missed it, show us a picture of the Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock. A number of folks don't seem to want to do that. Could they not have Custom Shops?
