    New!(to me) USA peavey

These are the pictures from the ad itself. I'm going to take better ones as soon as I can get around to it. And a picture of the amp it came with.

    New!(to me) USA peavey

I love USA peavey! So needless to say when I saw a peavey patriot for sale on craigslist with original hard case and even a peavey amp for only $195 I called about it right away. I drove a little over an hour to get it. When I got there to see it I was amazed. Not a scratch on it. The ad said it...

Dual straight, dual right angle, or mixed?

I'm a straight/straight guy. I'm comfortable with that for any and all my basses. As far as an adapter goes, never. Just not needed. You gotta worry about a loose connection or just a loss of tone in general. No thanks. If I really want a certain cord I'll buy it or make it.

    Anybody actually pay for Bandmix?

    My thoughts exactly.

    Anybody have luck with Craigslist?

Usually my local CL turns up just a bunch of idiots to say the least. But then again I live in an area where stupidity is the norm and the average IQ could be compared to that of a used bar rag. But recently(almost a year ago now) I met who is now my guitar player and best friend in the musician...

    I LOVE/HATE - CAN'T STAND/CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT A FENDER

I like fender basses. Love the tone. And their just a classic. Not to mention an icon in the bass world. That being said they aren't my favorite. I recently re-arranged my apartment and decided to leave out only 3 basses I play the most and keep the rest in their case in the corner. Well turns...

Public Service Announcement about selling basses.

I agree with placedesjardins about the new strings. I am very picky on gauge brand and type of strings I use so unless you have exactly what I want I'm gonna take them off right after buying it. I hate how people advertise they put new strings on like they did me a favor. Cuz it's clearly hard...

Road worn, or just a mess?

That thing is just horrible. Personally I've never been big on the whole "road worn" idea. I like buying used guitars and I don't mind them having cosmetic issues giving it character but buying a new guitar that looks beat up is just stupid to begin with.

What is that Bronco Bass pickup really?

Yes it is just a strat pick up. The bronco bass is kind of just a squier version of the vintage fender musicmaster bass. The music master was fenders cheaper line of guitars and basses made from the spare parts of the mustangs and sonic duos. They would just throw in a single coil guitar pickup...

Looking for a bass for reggae, old school jazz, and neo-soul/hip-hop.

You can get that tone with a p. maybe putting some flat wounds on it would help too.

    Good Starting bass?

I have and epiphone thunderbird and a Gibson EB-0, similar to an EB-3. My sister in law has an ibanez mikro I've jammed on for band practice too. First off the mikro is kind of like a my first bass thing. Good for children or younger kids or even somebody with small hands. It has a pretty good...

Th Official Fender Musicmaster Bass Club

Room for one more? I got this beautiful 77 about a year ago on craigslist for a damn good deal. I'm only the 2nd owner, the original owner said he bought it new in 77 and then just never got around to music at all so it sat around for decades. It came with the original case(also in perfect...

    U.S. Peavey Club

I'm so in with my t-20 and my awesomely pink foundation. I got that t-20 off Craigslist for $120. It's in damn good condition too. She just needed her neck straightened out a little. I prefer these peaveys over pretty much any Gibson or fender as far as what I play at an average band practice.
