I have a Shen SB80 also, with a full circle installed. it sounds pretty darn good through a regular amp w/o a pre amp. How ever i bought a preamp for the impedance issue for one, and to have more parametric EQ options.... I think that is the bigger advantage then the sound... it still sounds...

Hi Guys, I took it in and it looks like a short in the Fishman. My Luthiers called Fishman, and they were very helpful and stand behind it 100%, so Im lucky, i thought i fried it somehow hooking into my LR baggs... phew!
