Brewers started 8-2, now it looks like they're going to lose four in a row. Oh well, it's a long season.

That was the first AB I saw tonight. I had the volume down, so I didn't hear the explanation. It looks like things have cooled down.

Wilson Contreras is quickly becoming one of my least favorite players. Acting like Woodruff hit him in the helmet on a pitch that might have brushed the pad on the back of his hand, then spiking Hamilton in the knee to break up a double play, that's just bush league. They showed the replay on...

The current undefeated teams: LA Dodgers, NY Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Milwaukee Brewers, and....Miami Marlins? So the 2 best records in the AL last year, last year's NLCS opponents, and the Marlins. It's early, but I like the Brewers' look this year. I'm hoping for another Central...

    Winter Olympics 2026

I love watching the Olympics, both summer and winter, seeing sports that you only see every 4 years. My favorites are curling, luge, skeleton, bobsled, skiing, snowboarding, skating, speed skating.... pretty much all of them.

I remember him with the Brewers in the late 70s. I was a young catcher, so of course he was one of my favorites when I was 6.

Tell me you're old without telling me you're old

I have my upstairs Aleeve, downstairs Aleeve, work Aleeve, and backpack Aleeve. Also Excederin, but that's for migraines, not for getting older.

I also stepped back a bit the last few years. 9 or 10 wins, 0-1 in the playoffs, the standard is the standard. I'm disappointed that it looks like the Steelers may be joining the coaching carrousel after having just 3 coaches in my lifetime. I'm doing my best to be optimistic.

Fat boys (and girls) playing bass. Interested in weight loss challenge?

I know all about the muscle vs fat weight. I spent years being called obese by my doctors despite having a body fat under 5%. When I was in the best shape of my life, back in my twenties, I was 5'6 175 lbs. My legs were solid. Doctors told me I needed to lose weight. I developed diabetes during...

Fat boys (and girls) playing bass. Interested in weight loss challenge?

Not a New Year's resolution, just continuing my progress. I've gone from officially 235 (I think it was as high as 245, but I went a few months without weighing myself) down to 189. I broke 2 bones in my knee in July, which I recently got looked at, so my activity has been way down. Now that...

At least Judge had an MVP worthy season. I agree Cal should have won, but Judge would have won it easily in most seasons with those stats.

In order to spend like the Dodgers, the Brewers would have to dedicate 168% of revenue to player salaries.

I have seen some pathetic Brewer offenses in my lifetime, but I can't think of one worse than what I've witnessed this series. Give the Dodgers credit, they put together an incredible rotation.
