Only the emg pick-ups. not the emg hx can take the 18 volt upgrade per emg when I called. I just added another 9 volt to my 98 sr1000 w/emgs and didn't realize a major difference (plus had to leave it hanging out the back as there is no room for a secong 9 volt with out major modification...

The squishy is pretty tight...Just got mine...Very subtle but like a sound man in a box...

Ibanez 1100 with EMGs into a black firebass 700 with 2 15" BW cabs and can get tones 10 inchers can only dream of...using a mr squishy to compress it and keep it tight..Peavey is the best value in the game..700 watts its a beast...;) Heavy as hell but so are the cabinets..
