Double Bass Electric bassist looking at Uprights

I guess you guys are the ones to talk to, so i'll cut to the chase. I'm an electric bassist (Ibanez SR-5) and i'm looking towards uprights. What's the price range for these things and what models would you recommend?

Help please! New to bass & looking to invest in 1st pedal - any recommendations?

Personally, my first pedal was the boss ME-20B. on it are a variety of effects including synth, wah, octaver, and fretless simulator. it costs around the $300 range, but trust me dude: it's worth it. it runs on 6 AA Batteries, but you can get a wall adapter for $25.

    Rounds on a fretless?

round wounds to me are just reminiscent of the stand up bass. what it all comes down to is personal preference.

    Is This a Good Deal???

Yeah, Peavys have pretty thin necks. i have a peavy fury myself and couldn't stand it, but eventually got used to it. not a real biggie, but make sure the strings you put on aren't too thick (a .110 e-string should be good)

    63 Fender Jazz. Need Advice

Make a fair offer (I'd say about $300), but make sure you see pictures before you buy it, and don't give the money until you see it.
