Hate to admit it but I removed stock bridge from my 70 P-bass and but a Babicz full contact on it. Great stability and intonation never wavers. Doesn't look as cool though!

I was wondering if this worked for you and made a difference to the amps operating temperature. Is it quiet? I was going to put a 6volt fan on the back with a walmart plug for quiet operation. cheers

TI's with my Fender 70 P-bass - amazing strings get better as they get older. DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams - I have these on a jazz over 4 years old and I am still winding the treble back. I think with these you need to give them at least 4 months before they sound great!

OK I found some from the GK dealer in Australia - I have 12v 10watts in place at the moment so I can use the cab AND it fixed the static rustling issue! Apparently when these lamps blow they cause some issues at times with the sound of the cab. So all in all an interesting experience. Thanks for...
