Yea, I have a good one now. I will say though that Carvin did replace them OUTSIDE of the 3 month warranty period. So hats off to Carving for good customer service. Just a shame that the strap quality is lacking.

Hardshell case can take a beating, love it. Gig bag not so much, been through 2 of them and they always fell apart at the straps within 4-5 months...

Not sure what style you play but the sansamp VT is awesome at the whole "old school" feel if that's what you're into.

Yep, that is a satin matte finish. I'm really loving it. I would recommend that on any natural wood.
