Regarding some of the AD/DA comments, Source Audio has previously stated that their next generation of pedals will include SPDIF digital on the 1/4" in/outs, thus allowing digital audio between pedals, eliminating the need for AD/DA conversion.

The new pedal is the Encounter, like the Collider but with the more out their algorithms from the Nemesis and Ventris plus a couple of new ones.

This thread is focused on pedal compressors. Is there a similar thread or resource for rack mount comps?

Warm Audio currently produces an 1176 compressor, even before the release of the Pedal76, I believe it was one of their first products.

Technically, they already do (just not in a pedal format, yet...)

Sonuus Voluum is an oft overlooked compressor with presets.

There isn't a dedicated Omnipressor algorithm but there is one built into one of the reverbs (Dynaverb?).

For the Mercury Flanger, the editor displays the Delay control, even with a phaser algorithm loaded. When the knob is turned it does adjust what seems to be the frequency but the change is subtle. Interestingly the physical sweep of the knob only goes from minimum to 12 o'clock in the app; this...

For youtube videos, there is one from a Russian channel (along with a few shorts), but not much else. I guess we’ll just have to wait for other users to post demos. Since it’s been over 2 months since the release and it still hasn’t happened, I doubt official SA demos for bass will be released...

So far so good for me, the connectivity issues seem to be resolved. Need to spend more time with it, but it appears to be working as expected.

@rsmith601 , thanks for the update and details. Waiting for the App Store to make the latest version available. Am having a lot of issues with the TRS communication so hoping this fixes them.

I think this is more of a direct replacement/upgraded HOG2 as most of the features, form factor, price point, etc., are more in line with the HOG2 than the POG series. Also, EHX website for the HOG2 states discontinued in 2024, and the POG2 is still available new... While you could get a POG2...
