I’m using a finely V2 at the end of my chain and I’m loving the warmth it adds to my HX stomp. 1 minor problem, the lead has started popping out of the output jack. Is there a way of fixing this without opening her up? Cheers Ben

I have I haven’t played a stingray 5 with flats but I have flats on 5 string jazz and P basses and there’s definitely no volume loss. It’ll be interesting to hear the results of going back to rounds on that bass.

It still has a nice growl to it on the lower notes which really helps it sit nicely in the mix. Cool tone! Ben

I went to a Marcus Miller clinic where he played his well known jazz bass. He said there’s a benefit to playing one bass and really learning how to get all the different tones you’re after from it. The benefit was that you became so used the feel of that bass that it fit you like a glove. He...

I watched a video of his the other day where he explained his weight loss. Essentially he’s now eating a vegan diet under the guidance of a nutrition and doing a lot more exercise. Funny, his playing still sounds great as ever
