Speaking of Peaveys… I really wanted to love the USA Millennium 5 strings. They looked great and sounded even better. I just could not deal with the tight string spacing. On 2 occasions, I found 2 beautiful examples with highly flamed tops and birdseye fingerboards. I loved the sound so much...

I’ve seen several MTDs with that combo and previously owned a Roscoe with it. Loved the bright and growly tone. I guess it has to be constructed carefully. I inquired but Warmoth won’t make one.

$1995 was a steal for that beauty. I, too, have been watching and salivating over Warriors for a while. It looks like that one has a mahogany neck. I’ve always wondered how that effects the tone.

Yeah, the 2 grain pattens are clashing visually. If the wenge is as darker, it would blend better. But who’s going to see it but you?

I know he’s a performer but it shows that he gets joy from playing the bass.
