Just saw this and had to share...

I don't know anything about that, I only saw it on You Tube and thought it was funny.

Bass Collection / Momose / SGC Nanyo

OP, just a quick one, but your picture of the body of your bass, looks to me as if it has 21 frets, not 22 - https://www.talkbass.com/attachments/img_0571_zpsd72a2ff7-jpg.925298/ Probably not a biggy, except if you are trying to find about a 22 fretted instrument, and you mean a 21 fretted one...

    Fretless out of tune?

This! If you think about it, with a fretted instrument, when you press down behind a fret, the point of contact for the string is the fret, not the point where your finger is pressing.

Fender Limited Edition Sandblasted Bass Owners Registry

I love these basses! I don't own one, but if I was ever in the position to get one, I would snap it up. If I could, I would have a Precision in blue, and a Jazz in red (I personally think the blue suits the Precision best and the red suits the Jazz best).

To Block Or Not To Block?

Looks good as it is. I think the blocks would make it look a little "busy".

    Bass Crack

I've got a MIM 5 which has a crack in exactly the same place. Difference is I know how mine happened - It was knocked off it's stand at a jam session, and fell sideways, landing on the "B" tuner. Surprisingly enough, the bass can still be tuned, and seems to hold it's tune pretty well (but I...

    Before and After.

That's all that really matters... Enjoy! For what it's worth, I like it both before and after, can't decide which one more. Think I would keep both pick guards and change them as the whim takes me lol!

Lakland's incredible ending for a very sad story

Kudos to Lakland! Great ending to a bad situation. Enjoy your new bass :bassist:.

Is It Just Me? On your gig someone asking you 'Can I see your bass?'

I know I've already commented on this but want to add that I am a toolmaker by trade and in the trade there is an unwritten rule that a craftsman won't touch another craftsman's tools (as they are THE things that allow us to make a living). I have carried this rule into nearly every part of my...

Is It Just Me? On your gig someone asking you 'Can I see your bass?'

I have asked a bassist at a gig if he would show his bass to me as it had a beautiful finish, which I wanted to see closer. I have never asked (nor would do) to play or even touch anybody's gear.

A bass you would never consider playing

Personally, I wouldn't play any bass that wasn't mine, unless I was trying it out before buying. Possibly being a bit over cautious, but only the other week I was offered the chance to play a friends boutique bass, which I would love to, but didn't want to risk anything, so I declined.
