SVT with yorkville 4-10? Did they ever make a 4-10 that was 4 ohm?

You should get a mini mixer or something to mix the bass POST VT with ipod. That way you can leave the music unaffected by the pedal. They are very cheap.

My bridge is heavily corroded after a years worth of sweat. I don't mind so much with my roadworn bass, but i will definitely pay better attention to wiping down anything i don't want destroyed in the future.
