    Markbass hissing issue

I think i remembet turning the tweeter on my cab down or off. I've used many different MB 500 & 1000 watt amps.

    212 vs 2x112

I prefer two 1x12 versus one 2x12. At 8 ohms per speaker the two speaker configuration gives me 4 ohms each, and i have the flexibility of one or two cabs. I'm currently using an MB Ninja on two 1x12, that 500 watts each on 400 cabs. Any thoughts? Am I missing something?

    Lakland Geezer Butler

The Lakland PJ is great too. The GZ feels different. Pickups obviously, but the low action and ebony fretboard feel very different. Faster.

Another selling rant...when a lowball is annoying...

It's not the $20 in my opinion but rather the type of person you are dealing with. See the writing on the wall, cut your losses by waiting for another buyer. This one will be a loss one way or the other. It doesn't matter how you handle poopie, it manages to get on everything it touches.

    What matters?

I am a new bass player, lifelong drummer. I've been playing electric bass about 6 months and following TalkBass throughout. I am trying to figure out what matters most in a bass. From what I've gathered, the wood is minor, the pick ups are psychological, the strings impact playing preference...
