    Fender Geddy in 3-Tone Sunburst?

Very nice addition to the standard Geddy. I just love block inlays on pretty much any bass, but the maple fretboard just makes them "pop" so much better. Such a killer bass!

Talking myself into a MIM Fender Precision vs American

The Classic Vibes are getting good reviews across the board, and they are very affordable! I absolutely love my Squire 50's Vibe P-bass!

Vintage MIJ Fender Precision vs ESP Viper 404?

Can't go wrong with a MIJ Fender. Post pics when you can!

    plz help. need bass ideas.

I used to own a Carvin LB-20. Neck-through, light, 24 frets, and relatively affordable. If you go that route, you may want to upgrade the pickups, since they are single-coils, with passive electronics. Going with Carvin, you can also choose what you want in the bass (woods, hardware, etc), so...

All time favorite Bass?? (Looks wise)

I've always been a huge fan of Zons, lookswise. They've always reminded me of Spectors, but with something "modern" lurking beneath the surface. Only way I can describe it.

Best bass to buy strictly for upgrading

I picked-up the 50's vibe precision with the intent of upgrading ASAP. Seymour makes a 1/4 lb'er just for that bass style. WANT!!!

    Log Bass on eBay

I saw that one the other day and shared it with some friends. Worth a laugh if nothing else.

An affordable Bass with great value that needs no modding and could last ages?

Just got one of the 50's Classic Vibe P-basses, and so far I really like it! Not as punchy or focused as my active Washburn, but really decent for the price.

    Squier Owners Club

Hey man, love the bass! Just got my 50's Vibe P-bass this weekend...just like this one! Being a "righty", mines un-modified...for now! Looking at replacing the pick-up with SD 1/4lb'er, schaller tuners, and maybe a gotoh bridge. Warmoth has all that stuff ready to ship, and the prices are...

    Need honest opinions...

The strap is OK, but it looks like something for a guitar hero guitar, rather than a real bass. Just my opinion.

    Godin Customer Service Issues

I'm inclined to agree with Alex. Sux about the OP's bass, though. I've bought one or two problem instruments in the past, and it can be a real pain to get the straightened-out...even when the bass is still covered by store warranty!

    Best Pickup Configuration

I couldn't make-up my mind. To me, every combination I've played has sounded great in different circumstances.

    PICKUPS?!?!?!

I love the Bart soapbars in my Washburn. Lot's of power...great for rock, or anything requiring a "modern" sound. They may be too clean for what you're after, and every bass sounds different. I like them for what they are, but I wouldn't slap them in my 50's Vibe P-bass. Dig?
