Given the corporate tax structure, it would not surprise me that eBay actually makes money on these scams. Also curious as to why his seller status has not been eliminated? My mystery guitar which had a delivery notification for yesterday has suddenly disappeared off USPS radar.

Delivery day came and went. First guitar from N.J a no show. Claim filed! Second guitar from china which showed no movement since 3/2 now says it's in N.Y. and will be delivered on Wednesday to Montana? (Ha Ha) We know that will not happen. So eBay allowed me to file a second refund claim...

Which is fine for normal situations, but they should delete his account immediately, and do a mass refund for eveyone without the standard need for individual requests. Just my humble opinion and I told them as much.

New member, long time bass player. People only get away with stuff like this if you allow them to. I just got off the phone with eBay, and requested an investigation, and also to shut down the seller's account, which would make for an automatic refund to all buyers with no need to file a claim...
