    Fender Rumble Club

Alright guys, sell me on it. I'm filling the void left by my recently departed GK MB200 and picking up a new small amp. Rumble 40 V3 or Rumble 75? I'd be pairing it with a Stingray5. I rarely play out, so this would be primarily practice. When I do play out, it's usually at church where we are...

In Ear Monitors For Bass Players

This. This is what I just did. I've used the Triple.Fi 10s for about 8 months, then just got my reshells done to custom 1964 molds. Everything is clearer with the custom molds, but they were a great starting point before hand. I run mine wirelessly through a Shure PSM200, rather than...

    Ampless live setup

Here's how I run... and it's similar to this for the entire band at the church where I play. Bass -> [Pedalboard (tuner, compressor, chorus, etc.) -> Tech21 VTBass on pedalboard] -> Summit DI -> stage snake -> Mixer (behringer x32) -> aux send -> Shure PSM200 -> earbuds the objects inside the...

    1964 ears

After wearing them for a few hours today, I have to say that the seal they give is wonderful. My officemate typically plays music through his computer and I can't hear anything from his space with these in. The sound is terrific as well. Mine are reshelled UE Triple.Fi 10s, and I honestly...

    1964 ears

Mine just arrived 3 hours ago. It's been all I can do not to walk around the office wearing them. Fit is phenomenal! Will post up a review when I've had a chance to put them through their paces.

    over-ear headphones vs IEMs

When I'm mixing, I have a set of Senn HD280Pros sitting by my console at all times. For the price, they're the best sounding, most comfortable Supra-aural phones I've been able to find. That said, on stage I'm IEM all the way. Partially it's from an aesthetic perspective... wearing cans on...

Your first bass vs. what you play now

My first bass was a late 90s Ibanez SR800 (I think... those are hard to identify) that I got used via eBay. Since then I've been through a Warwick Corvette 5, then a MusicMan Sub 4, and I just landed a MMRay5. I think I finally found my home.

    Need Help Church/Worship DI & Mic'd Cab

Also, props for getting to use an SVT and 8x10 on a church stage. We run DI only. Our room is poorly configured for live amps on stage.

    best universal IEM

Memorial day sale at 1964ears.com today. I believe it's $75 off the triples, which I think brings them below $400. Put in the order today and they'll save your spot at the sale price, then mail your molds when you can. (I'm not affiliated with 1964 in any way) I do, however, have a set of UE...

    Behringer X32

I've been using the x32 since March approximately 4x per week at church. With our 8-piece band (including vox) running IEMs mixed off of bus sends and using the built in effects, it's an absolute champ. Could not have done better for the price. I would like a little more control over...

    Another IEM question (Opinions)

The only thing keeping me from doing the quads is my budget. The V3s would be pressing it a little tight at about $425 after shipping. The extra $75-$100 bump for the Quads would push it out of my $425-450 max budget. :-\

    Another IEM question (Opinions)

Looking for opinions. I've had a set of Triple.fi 10s for a little while now, and I love them. But... they don't like to stay in and I'm not a fan of the Frankenstein Bolt look. I just got ear molds made today and I'm looking around trying to decide where to go for customs. I have some...

Best in ear monitor for less then $100.

For less than $100, I'd go with Westone UM-1s. If you can squeeze a little bit more, a set of UE Triple.Fi 10s can sometimes be found for about $150.

GK MB200 owners: contour switch on or off?

Similar to what I use for "flat". Contour off Treb 9:00 Hi Mid 2:00 Lo Mid 1:30 Bass 10:30 Then... I run my VT Bass into it for some growl. :)
