In terms of volume and power punch, how would you compare the two10 and the SC?

Although your experience is a valid form of knowledge I doubt it is strictly due to those elements. I''ve got 2 barefaced speakers and when pushed everything trumbles, walls, windows , me....The BB800 head is light enough and the feet are slidy, the Barefaced tolex it is also on the slidy...

Alembic tone from a D class

Like many others I've been through (2) Ampegs, 1 GK , 1 Aguilar, 1 Trace elliot and the one that delivers power and tone is the BassBlock 800 of Quilter.

Bass Block 800 Watt Top - Barefaced Super Midget - 8 ohm Bottom - Barefaced Big Baby 2 - 8 ohm Enough to make the sound guy say " You got enough volume by your own, you don't need no support from P.A ". Was at a open square garden in the city center

Yeah....and no...When you push the Barefaced speakers to the point of having the BassBlock floating on top of the speaker, you will have to find a way to stop it. I haven't researched the materials available in the local hardware store, so I've used the bag to prevent the BB from falling. Also...

Crosspost from Quilter: Just came from a Blues Festival in Portugal and I'm so pleased so have this sweet sounding MEGALODON amp + Barefaced speakers. It was in a central square park for 100+ people, high stage with open back. The sound man told me "You got no bass on the P.A. your rig is all...

Looking for advice on a class D amp and portable rig

Dont forget to take a look at the Quilter Bass Block 800, a really good amp if you're not looking for a specific tone ( Ampeg, GK etc). [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I'm using a passive Jazz with the tone full cut and only the neck pickup for Blues. For some more funky tones I just open the bridge pickup to full and don't touch the tone knob (still full cut)

Try these! Gain 7.5 Depth 12 - 4 detents Contour 12 - 3 detents Master as you please (160W for me) Also Gain 7.5 Depth 12+3 Cobtour 12+3 With these two settings you have a clean sound if you dont dig hard, and if you do you get a really good compressed sound.
