Thing got weirder... I took my drillpress back home, which makes it easier to check for me (my shop is a 30 minute drive, and at the moment I cant go there very often). So.. took it back home, installed a chuck (same as in the clips I posted), pressed the on button: and it worked like it...

That would suck, cause I have to take the whole machine apart, to get that thing out.

Still havent figured it out, but could this be it: I noticed some markings on the spindle/shaft (not sure what it's called), and decided to do a test: Right on top of the markings: Tested some none marked parts, and they are all fine

I had someone CNC the logo I wanted. After that I used epoxy + glow in the dark powder. Did a few glow in the dark powder tests, and GlowInc's V10 is the best by far.

I think we can rule out the chuck. Tried a rohm supra chuck today: same problem.

it's a keyless chuck. I sent an email to Albrecht, and they told me I can send them the chuck, and they will check it for me.

I'd say it's an ovangkol body. I had a 97 5 string thumb, sold it years ago. Still miss it...
