I don't personally like Ibanez myself. But whenever I play live or see a band, the bassist always has an Ibanez. So they're definitely popular.

My 70s Fender Jazz. I love the look of it and can get all the sounds I ever wanted out of it.

I change my Roundwounds about once a year. But that's after I boil them twice!

I love them. I put them on my 70s Jazz to make it look a bit nicer and I will never take them off. It was my first bass, so I learned to play around them. The neck cover is a really good place to rest your thumb. Without them, it just feels weird and I don't really know where to play. Plus...

That'd be the only pedal I'd buy! Although, I do get quite close with rounds and all the highs and tone taken off. But a pedal would be much more convenient.

Completely agree. I can see why people move towards the newer stuff, because they do seem to offer more.

Southern. Although, I play in places with bands my own age (18) and as most people said. Could be just my age group.
