I think that Turnaround may be correct about the seasonal adjustments but Reedt2000 has a good point about how it can affect your mental being.

I have been playing since 1962 and usually with better players. It has been a rewarding experience. Now, at 74 years old, I am with players who have progressed since joining and it is rewarding also. Both situations have there benefits.

My wife also has the C extension with levers (capos). It is used in many symphonic pieces.
