I picked up a case for a recently acquired Foundy and after taking it out the foam which had deteriorated has adhered to the strings. Anyone have a safe, easy way to remove it?

There is a GV fretless five string on cl for $200. Is this a good deal?

Thanks. It's my first, hopefully not my last. I picked it up at a local ps. Kinda surprised to see it in the shop it was in. They said it belonged to a friend of their's with a collection. I'd like to find out some history on it.

Just got home with this red T-40. 1980 wieghs in at 9.5 lbs

I got this Foundation a few weeks ago. It is a lined factory fretless. The Firebass 700 and the Peavey 4x10 are recent additions. Also have a T-40 coming in a few weeks.

Skabasskid I have the same fretless 5. I got mine about a year ago for $300 with the hard case. It was used but did not have a scratch. I want to know how the new board turns out, cost and sound differences. What strings do you plan to use? I have GHS pressure wounds on mine.

I started on guitar 30 some odd years ago. I got serious on the bass recently. I have the lead singing role in my current band. I dabble on keys, drums, banjo, violin, mandolin. I will say this, drummers get the best workout.
