Where is the next generation of micro heads?

Screw using a phone or tablet for this. It's literally not worth the hassle. Room for controls? Put some on top. Front and top. Plenty of room for almost anything, if you really need it to be that small.

Pretty well covered by everybody. I forgot to mention to find out if there are any songs that you must NOT play..... This comes up once in awhile.

    Wedding Advice

Weddings are hard if you are new to it because as you've found there's lots of music to learn. I've done it on and off for decades so I know the list of likely suspects pretty well. The band I work for has a list of about 150 songs the client chooses from. I've got charts for many of the ones...

    Oval profile flatwound strings?

BAZZINGA! But even THAT doesn't tell the whole story. : D

Mono Betty vs Neotech Mega vs?

Different strokes. My basses generally balance neutrally so for me it's useful, to be able to move it around if I want to. But it could be a problem otherwise.

Mono Betty vs Neotech Mega vs?

I have three and like them just fine. They are a bit slippery though so if your bass has a balance issue it might not be the best choice. Also, if you play in warm weather in a suit you might get the sweaty shoulder/chest problem as the material is quite insulating.

Help with Micro Tilt one Fender Jazz Marcus Miller

You mention fret buzzing. Micro tilt won't help with that. It's essentially an adjustable neck shim.

    Oval profile flatwound strings?

Close, but it's correctly called a spheroid.

Help with Micro Tilt one Fender Jazz Marcus Miller

You have to loosen the neck screws to use it, did you? The ones closest to the headstock need to be just snug and the others, loose. Then turn the tilt screw, tighten neck screws and reassess.

    Oval profile flatwound strings?

You did. It's not a thing and you wouldn't want it to be if it was.

    Should I return this?

It appears to me that the green paint ran into the corner a bit. So there's a lump of it there holding the neck up. You could clean that out easily with a flat file.

Man music stuff has gotten expensive

There's a guy on here who's got like 12 Sadowsky's. Tom Bowlus has a warehouse full of amps. I do ok but not THAT ok. So what. I'm happy.
