    You can. But say you use guitar overdrive pedal on bass your likely to lose lots of low end. I don't think you can damage them.

    I recently change my strings and I noticed that there was some fret buzz on my low e. My action is rather low but it never did that before. The weirder thing is that it has a weird warbly/flanger effect to it.

    How to get that perfect growly and punch tone

    I love growly and punchy tones. I have a hard time achieving this though. Any tips on what bass, head or cabs, strings, or pedals that could help me achieve this tone. I've heard that orange terror heads give you a nice growl but im not sure.

    I like a bright, growly, and punchy tone. I'm not quite sure what strings would help me achieve this. I was looking at ernie ball super slinky but I'm not sure. Any opinions?

    Awesome thank you. So i'd definitely be better off getting another 8 ohm cab instead of just pushing it through my one 200 watt cab?

    It is a "hybrid" head. Both tube and solid state. Thank you though. So if i got another cab at 8 ohms both would recieve 250 watts?

    The head is switchable from 4 to 8 ohms. The head is 500 at 4 or 8 ohms
