Well - I'm 41, the first Rush album I heard was Hold Your Fire, and I was 19 at the time. I love all the playing on all the albums - all different, eclectic, so much to learn. I have hankerings for different eras every now and then, but I could happily pick an album blind and listen to it all...

Yeah - you have to say we Bass players are spoiled: both here and on your side of the pond. We get manufacturers and dealers speaking to us, updating, letting us tell them ideas etc. for a number of products - Dingwall, Source Audio, Darkglass (the ones that I visit, probably more).

Yep - he uses super versatile filter preamps too: you can get pretty much any tone you want if you spec it right.

PMT is a pretty nationwide chain in the UK - they carry Orange. But yeah - prices are daft in comparison, especially now the £ is worth little more than the lint in your pocket lining.
