1 - I actually mentioned to the boys that since we had shelled out for new gear, that the $100 would help go towards said purchase, this is why I mentioned the purchase. 2 - We had discussed and agreed in the price of the gig with my friend, not the Drunk Guy At The Bar, hence his contribution...

So on the weekend we are playing at a party, 8-midnight type of thing. We do the gig on the cheap side cause its for a friend I know through work and that is sweet with the other guys. Bearing in mind that earlier this particular day, we spent near on $1500 on PA gear to finish off our setup...

If you are swinging by Sydney in the next month, we are on again! The pub has booked another Drinking Party Crew of Chicks @ Shows, otherwise I'll have some new photos in a couple of weeks!

For the record, we played Freed Bird as a bit of a dare/running joke with our mates (not really a popular option in Australia, hardly anyone even knew the song). It turned to be the talking point if our show and the most fun song we jammed on. Go us! Here's a couple more anyways...

Doing a show in a National Park about 2 hours North West of Sydney tonight - first gig we've used a sub bass player (I'm the guitard/LSD guy). Looking forward to some sweet blues jams and a bit of old school rock n roll. Party time!

Tonight we are playing at a country pub about 2 hours north west of Sydney call The Cockfighter Creek Tavern and I reckon thats a cool name! Your turn!

Played my first back of a truck gig on the weekend, at a car show in Western Sydney, also a first for the other guys in the band. First time with a sound desk and full PA too, it sounded awesome! Can't wait for the next one!!
