I have a chance to buy a 15 inch 4 ohm Black Widow speaker. It is in a cabinet that looks to be from a PA system. It is 4 ohms. I am wondering if my 200 watt class d amp would push this enough to get some deep floor shaking tone at lower volumes? Cabinet is like the pic except no horn on top.

Which size LaBella Deep Talkin' Flats for this bass? Long scale? 760FS?

I won't be cranking them up.

I have a pair of HD599's. Do you think using them for practice will eventually destroy them? Rattle them apart? Not sure the task is appropriate for these headphones.

Nah,,,, Meant to strike the strings with his thumb. I would put mine up by the E string.

Did you need to drill to install the new bridge? Did it do anything for sound or tone?

I have a Squire P Bass. I fond that I miss the thumb rest. I had it on a Jazz bass I had previously (shown in the picture attached). Is it considered taboo to do this to a P. I mean I know it is my bass and all but......

Has anyone taped the neck to do fretwork yet? Was doing some reading and there is a lot of talk about Chinese VOC finishes succumbing to certain painters tapes. Was wondering what kind of tape you used and were successful with.

I assume you have to measure the pot shaft too. Thanks for the tips. I'll try the knobs but maybe I will just change the pots too.
