Any of you refuse to let others use your gear?

Ambidexterity would have it's advantages, I let a "south-paw" handle my new P-deluxe with the same desired "upside down" effect. Turns out he plays better than me, even inverted. And no, he wasn't from Oz....:bassist:

    Failed Ampeg Combos

↑ He said: "I had a PA system fry out a 300 Watt Peavy over some issues that to this day I have no idea what it was but could be something you listed. How would a bass player go about checking? When I plug in my power strip I get a reading on the voltage but that is all I can see". She said...

    1x15 vs.4x10vs.2x10

Quantity x Diameter, + depth of throw / frequency considerations. Bigger the number, & optimum freqs the better. Hand trucks, trolleys & castors to ease the pain....

    Hipshot for yamaha

Guess not, what strings are you using / for which styles of playing? Mine's an NOS, medium scale / original Yammie SS's....

    Whats the difference of woods?

Oh contrair, Balsa w/ a laminated veneer. The AIR tubes through body do add a modicum of hollow-body (sans soundhole) tonality though, through body strings being an influence with this particular instrument as well.

    RBX4 A2 or Peavey Palladium

RBX4 A2, medium Vs long scale. My instrument was bought NOS in Baku Azerbaijan, sans any paperwork. The factory sticker refers to the model#, with a letter "M" as a suffix. Off the shelf strings are hard to come by here, the original worse for wear time-wise / getting duller by the gig. Should...

"Check In" here before and after your gigs, set 3 - everyone's drunk now!

Regards from Baku, We just did a 2-nighter at Pancho's after 4 weeks off, quite refreshing. I developed a "task / job risk assessment", gig load-out inventory / packing lists, & electrical safety standardization to legitimize our bands efforts. Bigger than crap, it was those little things that...

    What would you do?

As a part-time thumper (28on/28off oil&gas gig), I tend to make up for lost time when I do get back. Fortunately we've only 2 regular gigs, and they're right next door to each other. We've only one pure musician, he's plug & play per-say, & the remainder of us with full-time jobs. I've...

    Ampeg BA115 with extention cab

Behringer MIG 18" Sub-box immediately available, but don't want the PA to muddle me. Our sanger & twangers tend to get greedy volume-wise, I could share with our kicker though....

For Touring.... 12/6/1 or 15/6/1 with Sub or ....1212/66/1 or 1515/66/1

Think "hand-truck". As shown above, but has crawler-style trolley feature on it's back. I've an old Mayflower van-lines type, absolutely indispensable when you consider Leslie cabinets, Sub-boxes & big Hammond organs.
