You will only find "RELIC" engraved on Custom Shop Team Built only. Master Built does not have "RELIC" engraved. Typically in the pickup cavity on a Master Built it will have the builders initials stamped.

Your last statement is incorrect. Custom Shop Master Built product is not stamped or engraved Relic on the necks or bodies.

I would try the DiMarzio Model P. It will give you a nice high gain tone, similar to the G&L MFD pickups. also, try a Hipshot all brass type B bridge. Those are great, super well made, and will add some sustain to your notes.

The cracks look like finish cracks to me. They are coming off of pickguard screw holes, so probably moisture that got in the holes and cracked the finish.
