First amp you ever played through.

The first amp I ever played through was an Ibanez IBZ10B. Rather cheap and super small but it got the job done for a little while. I guess its still and ok practice amp.

Thanks! :)

Lafayette, a house brand ( made somewhere in Japan by some firm) from a long defunct electronics store. 3 watt solid state 1 6” speaker toy. My next one was the real deal, a 1958 Ampeg Reverberocket. 22 all tube watts into an efficient 12” speaker. Talk about crunch!! Pro quality, and $125 1968 from the original guitarist from a band I still play with today. But then I started playing bass and 22 watts didn’t cut it.

GBX with 4x12. Amp is in the cab. It was my brother's. A real tank, used opening for Rod Stewart, fell down long flight of stairs, too many mishaps to mention and just kept ticking.

Here's an image for ya. Me at age 14 with this amp on my skateboard, my bass on top and me standing on the last 3 inches of board. I would joyfully sail down this gradual sloping street, giving the folks on the porches something to see. lol. Getting a driver's licence was great.

HOLY COW! For years I played through amps I didn't own... and the 1st bass amp I bought was something else entirely, but then when I was 18 I upgraded to THIS EXACT AMP/CAB.

The driver sounded awesome, although it was either scooped or mid forward - nothing in between LoL. And the driver is just a preamp! So weird! The cab had the power amp in it....

it was a very cool sounding amp, but not terribly loud.
