I have a Nordy VJ5 with audere JZ3D and Big Singles. It's a very punchy and aggressive tone! Very good for slapping! I normally use the mid Z position (with I think is the only usefull one) and cut a bit of the highs with the roll-off filter (which is a very nice feature of the preamp)...
