hi all im a guitarist dabbling with bass and want to use fingers it feels more natural to me to pluck with middle first and then index, is this a bad habit, ive tried index- middle but it feels un-natural i dont want to start with bad habits should i work on index then middle...

Thanks for the feedback all i probably worded my phrase poorly i meant to say that slap is a funk thing, not that funk is a always a slap thing i will listen to the suggestion, thanks regarding the chili peppers...im not a huge fan but loved blood sugar, and still do, its is definately well...

hi all i love slap/pop and for obvious reasons its the mainstay of funk is there any other slappers that play different styles or work slap into other genres les claypool is the only one i can think of (sure its funky, but not really classic funk music IMO) having just taken up...

hi all as per my previous thread i killed the stock P pickup on my p/j i have to order one and the place i get it has caps and pots, which are hard to get in ireland my sx pots seem very good, compared to others experience (no scratching at all and very solid) the only thing is...

hi all i just got an sx p/j ash and the high pole pieces were annoying me i found that a hard push on the poles popped the magnet off the back and i could push them all flush with the cover and reattach the magnet this worked nicely for the top piece of the p pup and i tested it...
