What he says it true though, I wasn't in sales though I was a tech there. Basically you don't earn a bonus until you sell enough product to pay for the wages GC pays you....it's not very straightforward and you have to sells tons to make a decent bonus. It's hard because you spend extra hours...

Solder that wire to the back of the volume pot and you should be good to go.

Dr Q is tons of fun, I would probably hold onto it if it were mine but you might be able to get about $100 for selling it.

That is perhaps a bit more than I would charge in my shop but then again I'm in the midwest. You have to keep in mind labor in this profession is about $50/hr. We have to charge these kinds of rates to actually make money at what we are doing you know?

I honestly thought it was kinda meh. The first half was good then the rest was so-so. The computer hacking scene made me laugh, and what was with the super complicated plan to get M?...All that just to burst into a hearing and open fire? And he can afford a helicopter but no rocket launcher...

I would have to say give us a shot. You would be surprised at how knowledgeable a lot of us are. We all come from various backgrounds so it never hurts to stop in and get to know your local tech and get a feel for his (or her) abilities.

I like this idea....the gap is about 3/32nd so it might take a while though.

Hi, I just received some nice flamed maple to glue onto the alder body blank I bought and need some ideas. As I expected, the two top pieces won't be able to be joined together without some work. In the past I would just hit them with a belt sander so they will glue up nicely but I don't...

I have only tried them on my strat and absolutely hate them....nothing but treble. Where did my mids and low end go? Can you say gimmick?

The saddle may not be sitting on the pickup element correctly...try taking the saddle out and put it back in making sure it makes even contact on the pickup element. Check to make sure the saddle bottom is flat too.
