not huge on reverb for bass. and i play in an ambient band... but i really like the TC hall of fame. lots of options. there are more extensive ones out there. the guitarist in said band uses the Strymon Blue Sky and i LOVE that pedal. maybe check out that.

agreed. i make alot of 'spacey' sounds with my looper, and a delay. given, i use a bunch of other stuff, but my looper is an essential part of my set up.

Top right diagram, man. It's a bit of a hassle for pedalboard tidyness using a blender, but imo worth it. Use to use an LS-2, but got an X blender a little while back which is great, cuz you can switch off the blend and still use the effects, which the LS-2 can't.

fulltone OCD is hard to beat for me.

i think flea used a boss odb-3 for that song. buy a blend pedal and whatever distortion or fuzz you like. This way, whatever dirt pedal you use, you will retain your low end punch and note definition. I use the Xotic X blender. best blender there is imo.

i've had this problem a bit. I'm not a big fan of stacking dirt pedz. If I want fuzz, I want fuzz, so I got the most wild one, the Swollen Pickle. Which, IME, does not stack with other pedals well. Stacking overdrive and distortion CAN work though.... My suggestion to you, would be maybe to look...
