That's great. How does the 1x12 sound compared to the 2x10? I went with the 500 combo in part because I like the more direct sound of a 10".

Looks great! My LB-100 sounds great with La Bella flat wounds, but rounds certainly have their place as well. Hmm, maybe two LB-100s so I can have one of each???

This LB has a "modern" neck with a 12" radius. For guitars, I prefer a bit of roundness (9.5" is ideal), but that's because I do a lot of chords up near the nut. I assumed I'd want the same on a bass but the 12" works very well.

That's exactly why I went with the 500 combo. I was torn between that and the 100 (smaller & lighter, even easier to load into & out of a car trunk), but the 200 was barely even a consideration. Of course if you're a big fan of the 15" speaker, that would be a very good reason to go for that...

The 200 & 500 are the same size physically, which is why I jumped up to the 500. I like the smaller 100 size (I'm used to ltttle guitar combos) but I think I'll grow into the 500.

Tough question. Is size an issue in your living room? Is money no object? Even for practice, I like a little power and air movement, so for me I didn't want to go smaller than the 100 combo. Money wasn't a big issue for me, since I sold a 60's blackface Vibro Champ for more than a new 500 combo...
