Yes! I agree with you @SLO Surfer. I have the Barbershop OD3 and it is great for that subtle grit and it stacks well with other distortion or fuzz pedals.

I 100% agree that the Scrambler side is a bit weak and disappointing. I use a separate overdrive pedal instead of the built-in Scrambler. However, I really love the sound out of the preamp side.

It certainly holds it's own beside the Fender bass. I can see what you mean with the beefier bridge on the Dean. I really like the appearance of the Edge 3. Glad it doesn't disappoint on tone and sound.
