I literally plugged it in last night for the first time, but after an hour, I ended up liking high range, square wave, mix at noon, frequency around 1-3 o'clock, and lpf just taking off the highest nastiness.

I am no expert with this thing, but sending that through a Xerograph Deluxe with an expression pedal was pretty fun.

My fair and fine Fairfield Circuitry friends...an alert brought me to this page this afternoon...

So...I fear that I may be parting ways with one (or maybe both?) of my FC pedals soon. I've never *really* been a pedal guy, but ventured down this pedal path over the past few years chasing two things----a "tubish" amp set up and a "tubish" ampless stage set up. So now there's FC, and Tech 21....and it all sounds great, but I really want to see what that green grass over there feels like!!!

And, luck has swung my way, as tomorrow morning I should be picking up a certain small 50watt funny looking tube head, that can also run cab-less, with the hope that it ends up becoming my single "go to" tool.

Will I continue to need the barbershop? The accountant? Time will tell, but in a way, I'm kinda hoping that I can simplify and reduce the moving pieces.

A few days in with the Randy's Revenge and I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep it. It sounds great and has a few great modes — trem, bells, bitcrushing — but I'm not sure how much I'm going to use it. Even when I'm just navel gazing with the El Cap, I'm wondering how much I'll use the Randy's.

Maybe I'd rather try out a Shallow Water?

Late to this thread.

Love my Barbershop! It’s my always on subtle OD/preamp near the end of my chain. Feeding a more gritty 5th Gear into the Barbershop is pure magic!

(pedal board is not laid out and wired in an intuitive order)
Signal chain goes;
Tuner
OC-2
Fifth gear
Loop/blend pedal (always full wet)
-Octavbre
-Filter Twin
-Phase 90
Barbershop
Keeley comp/limiter
Sansamp BDDI (always off just used for DI, sometimes gets swapped out for VTDI)

Both my MEs are pre trimpots(but one has a green and the other has a white pcb), so I am no authority on those, but I read somewhere that they are only really there to calibrate the pedal and not to be touched by us mere mortals.

I may be wrong, of course.

Ah… thanks. I only wish for an input trim.

Could always DIY, but if they add anything IMO it’d be that.
