I miss that fretless. Sometimes wish I had not traded it in but sounds like you are playing it way more than I did.

I had the same issue when I got my first 5 and now that’s all I play. Play it all the time for a month and you’ll not put it down except for those fretless needs. Gave one birdsong 4 to my grandson and still have the first one I got from Scott which I will never sell.

Scott should have wood looking knobs. I got some from him before. I think they might be the same size though but I think they will look better.

If I was a better player I’d kept that one. It does have an awesome tone. Glad it found a good home.

My 5 looks like it is the same PU's as my 4 string corto 2 and it sounds very similar. The spacing on the 4 string is a bit farther apart though

There are 2'of us that play bass at church and the other guy borrows one of my birdsong every time he plays, he has a fender which is nice but I think he has only played it once. I need to start charging him rent.

Got this 5 string which was a custom build but not taken so it was available. I'm must say the B string exceeded what I was expecting. Really like it a lot
