    Guild Pilot bass club?

Yes..I think I'll take the bridge off and clean it up..I am in Canada, and there's a lot of gouging (especially on eBay) to get a replacement... I was thinking of buying individual saddles for it ($25 each), but that doesn't make much sense either, Also. I'd like to thank everyone here for...

    Guild Pilot bass club?

Other than the bridge, and the usual dings of a 38 year old bass..the rest of the bass is in fine shape..The neck and action/playability is still great.

    Guild Pilot bass club?

Hi everyone..Wondering if someone could help me out here..?...I have a 1985-86 Guild SB-602..Standard 4 string bass...I played the hell out of it, until I put it away about 25 years ago. Just looked at after two decades, and it looks neglected...The bridge is corroded, and big chunks are...

    Eden These Days?

Bumping this thread...I've still got my WT-400 (with a few bumps/bruises), and use it for for a practice, backup amp..Still one of my favourite amps of all time, even though it's been relegated at home for the last 15 or so years...It's a keeper. I do recall it running out of headroom back in...

What’s your preference Jazz Bass or Precision.

Ah, the eternal question..lol..thats okay though. I own both, and like both..I alternate on both of them when playing live (meaning that one stays at home)..The jazz is super punchy, and cuts through the mix, you can somewhat emulate the sound of a P bass on a Jazz, but it cant emulate the fat...

    Fender American Professional II Series

I haven't needed to go into music stores since covid because I am more than satisfied with my setup..I was more than astonished to see that the price tag on a regular USA P-bass was a whopping $2400 CAD. I'm not posting here to whine about the price (obviously Fender is a business, and I'm sure...

Fender American deluxe jazz vs...... Everything else

I have an American Deluxe jazz that I put together from parts (2014 neck,2013 body)...and installed passive Nordstrand pickups in it..The bass plays, sounds and looks amazing..Having said that,I don't think I would buy that bass new with the active pickups..I would recommend you get a nice...

    Nobody cares about your tone....

Any competent FOH sound guy will turn you up if you have good tone and technique ....People do tend to notice and admire....However, a mediocre sound man, boomy sounding rooms will swallow you and your rig up like Jonah the Whale...Don't take it personally!

    why isnt there a J.Jamerson sig.bass

I think that JJ sig bass would sell very well, but since the original bass was stolen..it's pretty tough to make a replica of it...A lot of folks say it was just a standard P bass, but we will never know...
