Line 6 Relay G10, short review

What is the exact frequency range of this unit? My guitarist recently purchased one and I am intrigued by it. I just want to make sure it covers the full range of a 5 string bass first.

    Cirrus much?

My first Cirrus was the Darkwood BXP 4. Before that,I had first played a USA Walnut 4 at a guitar store in my hometown when I was a teenager. I've played and owned tons and tons of basses over the years, but my Cirrus USA's are vastly superior. Scored my USA Claro Walnut 5 a few days before I saw...

What Strings is your Cirrus (Cirri?) wearing?

I use D'Addario ProSteels. I can get an unbelievably bright, crunchy, aggressive tone with them.

New rig! And boy is it a doozy!

It has casters and handles on the back, much like the ampeg 810's. It just kicks back and rolls.

New rig! And boy is it a doozy!

Haha. I move freight for a living, and I'm still fairly young,so I'm good. Recently used at an outdoor gig and without even being mic'ed,this rig had commanding output and matched the mains exceptionally well.

New rig! And boy is it a doozy!

I'd recently acquired an Eden WT800A with a matching D810XLT. I am exceptionally happy with this investment. The cab has minor wear to it,but still very much fully functional. I've NEVER had a rig that projected anywhere near as well as this one.

USA Peavey Cirrus fans, looky what I just scored...

I cannot identify that extra pickup you have mounted on your Cirrus or why you would need it,but the stock pickups are VFL's (Vertical Flux Loading). They have a wider magnetic range than a lot of other active pickups and therefor are powerful pickups. The five knobs are Volume,Bass,Tone,Mid and...

USA Peavey Cirrus fans, looky what I just scored...

I have managed to get a tone fairly close to that of a p-bass before. What I love most about these basses, however, are their tendency to favor the mids in my live sound.

USA Peavey Cirrus fans, looky what I just scored...

About four years back,I had scored a USA Peavey Cirrus 5 Claro Walnut that got me my spot in the USA Cirrus Club. After years of scoping out leads,I finally scored another one...a USA Cirrus 5 Maple :D Pictured here with my USA Claro Walnut 5.... Also, both basses have custom knobs...

Help me out, used Peavey Cirrus or new Peavey Grind?

I used to own several Peavey BXP basses and I had a love/hate relationship with all of them. I owned two Grinds and yeah, the pickups on both left a lot to be desired. Also owned two Cirrus BXPs. Sold off the BXP 4 because the body was made of some sort of cheapwood and had a very thin tone, and I...

35 Inch Scale 4 String - Help Me Find

Here's the most affordable solution: have a custom nut made that will accommodate the B-E-A-D tuning,or at least to where a B string can fit where the E is supposed to go. You can do it yourself by taking a razor blade and widening the string spaces, but BE CAREFUL! I absolutely DON'T recommend...

help! list me any suitable String packs for 35'' scale basses!!

D'Addario makes ProSteels and standard Nickel Wounds in 'extra long scale' sets. I usually alternate between ProSteels and the Cirrus brand strings. You can always find good deals on 'super long scale' or 'extra long scale' sets of strings on amazon. ProSteels are GREAT for the classic piano...

Left-handed but playing on right-handed instruments

I don't see it as being a slap handicap, but that's just me. I too,am left-handed. When I first took up bass,I didn't even know that left-handed basses and guitars existed. Come to think of it,I didn't even know it mattered. After playing right-handed basses for 10 years,I have found it extremely...

    JB Player 5-string Acoustic-Electric Bass

I've played a 4 string JBP too. They're amazing basses. Especially plugged in. The EQ provides a bit of room to work with, but you're looking at a nice warm tone for the most part. I would love to have owned it. Too bad I haven't been able to find another one since.
