i dont have any hard cases and i only have 1 gig bag and i can't let it go, i was thinking maybe wrap it in a blanket and double box it or something.

i have a friend a few hundred miles away and i'm gonna loan him a bass until he buys his own, how would you guys reccomend me shipping it? it has no case or bag btw. thnx

isn't running an 8ohm cab + 4ohm cab in parallel running at 6 ohm? just as an 8ohm+8ohm equals 4ohm, so they should work together.

Most speakers are designed for sealed and ported enclosures, so unless they are designed specifically for ported only i wouldn't be worried. I'm sure checking with the manufacturer of the speakers will clear that up.

How does that thing sound?

would a 4x10 be louder and sound better? i have played both a 2x12 + 4x10 but can't really crank them in a music store. i haven't tried a 2x10 paired with a 1x15 yet though, nowhere has one of those set up. i really like the sound of a 2x12 , but i am unsure if im 100% on the 2x12 more like 98%...

i can't find any good info on them, actually only thing i have really found is this pic Invalid Link Removed but it has a 6" speaker in it too i believe, and i only know that because of one for sale on bassgear, i wont have the money until i get paid friday so i dont know an exact $ mount i can...

thnx again for all the info, from what i have read the aguilar cabs are excellent. but right now i can't afford one and i don't wanna have to sell my ibanez 65 just to afford one. i guess i could always wait but i'll be dying to try out the head i bought.

i was about to post same item u did, they are by no means cheap, and that's more than i wanna spend. i might just build my own cab just to have something different than everyone else, any suggestions from anybody on speakers then?
