    Odd things thrown at you?

    I've had a goon sack thrown at me. (not sure if everyone here knows what it is, basically, it's a 4 litre sack of wine, 40 standard drinks for $13, ohhh yeah) and my own shoe was thrown back TO me once

    Annoying bass problem.

    Have you tried playing down towards the bridge? There should be more tension on the strings making it harder for the other strings to 'clank' on the frets.

    I'm not sure what type of music you're into, but personally i'd start learning some of your favourite songs, you'll have fun this way.. Once you learn the notes you're playing, THEN you can look into why they're being played (scales and theory etc.)
