Mine's pretty self explanitory...it's also been my screen name from waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the AOL days! But, for those that can't seem to get it, I AM a jammin' fool!

Currently, I'm using three basses as my main axes. My number one is a Brice HBX-405 5 string...which is interchangable with my Jay Turser semi hollow 4 string. My current backup is my Douglas WOB-826 six string, simply because it's such a beast to play, and I need a lighter axe to do my thing...

The real question isn't "should you tune in a weird tuning to accomodate the band", it's "how much do you really like what this band is playing, and are you willing to try something new and strange to accomodate them"? I've never been in a band that needed anything lower than the low B, so...

Haven't tried that particular bass, but I *did* get one of the Douglas six string beasts...it's an awesome bass, at any price! The fact that I only paid $185 makes it even better! I'd say go for it, Rondo is a great dealer and you will be pleasantly surprised with the way it plays and sounds...

hope someone out ther recognises this beauty...I'd love to know what I've got!
